Dental Sealants Pros and Cons: Are They Worth It for Kids and Adults?

My nephew got two things at the same dentist visit: sealants on his six-year molars and a cavity diagnosis on the tooth right next to them. The one that hadn’t been sealed yet.

His mom’s question stuck with me. Why not just seal everything, every tooth, right from the start?
